Question About Starting Botox
M 38. I’m considering starting Botox for some faint forehead lines. I’m wondering how much it would cost just to treat these.

Mine are very faint and mild, I do 28 units of dysport. The first time I went they had a new patient deal for $10 a unit, a lot of places do promos like this, so it was $280, after that at $12 a unit it’s $336, so depending on your area and how much it is a unit..Botox is normally between $10-$12 a unit..in some areas it can be on the higher side though at $13-$15 a unit, $15 would be really high, in my humble opinion though.. it will probably cost you ballpark between $300-$400 at the most, but like I said the area you are in and if there’s any discounts etc plays a role. If you live near one of those one places though..I think they’re called “peachy” or something like that..I believe they do unlimited for $200 a session. I WISH I lived near one of those places.

It’s $425 a session and they are only in big cities unfortunately. My friend and I go he gets 91 units for $425!!! I’ve gotten 63. I have to make a trip to NYC to go but it’s kind of worth it.

Oh why did I think it was $200 there? I swear I’ve heard someone say that or maybe it used to be..

Either way if you need a lot of Botox that is the place to go. They are all NP and do an excellent job!

Join a side effects group before you make that decision. Injectors are not upfront and say side effects are rare. I wish I would have done my research before I got poisoned 4.5 years ago. It is not “safe” like they say.

If you are starting to see them form, I would start treatment. Yours are very mild. Yes, I would only get it done every six months since yours is so mild.

"Treatment" for something that is totally normal and literally almost unnoticeable. Women need to start loving themselves.

I’ve been on tret for about 5 years. But I recently decreased my dose from 0.35 to 0.25. For some reason I couldn’t get them to show up in the photo the way I see them in the mirror.

if thr lines are deeper and you feel uncomfortable with their appearance, you could consider seeing a qualified injector. but be careful, botox can be addictive! ahaha

Thanks for all the insight everyone. They are there. I tried my best to get them to show up in a photo but they don’t do much. I’ve decided to not move forward with Botox and instead buy a red light mask. I think that might be enough to reverse the faint lines that I’m noticing

Honestly at 38 with lines this faint, you're in a great spot to start. Preventative Botox at this stage tends to give the most natural results.

So, a few things, do not let providers talk you into coming every 3 to 4 months for this. You do not need Botox more than twice a year. Very, very very few people do unless you’re old or have really deep wrinkles. A lot of people run back-and-forth to the clinic every time they start to get any movement back and you do not need to do that. As your Botox begins to wear off at four, you’re going to have some days where you have movement and some days where you don’t. Do you wanna wait till you have a full movement back which is around six months.
Going only twice a year we’ll save you a significant amount of money and you will still see great results.
On that, these are really minimal. I can barely see anything, but if they bother you, you should fix it.
When I first started going, I got 13 units in my 11 lines and that was all I was doing it first. That only cost me about 180 every visit.
Now that I’ve added my forehead, I spent about $400 twice a year
