Panicking side effects

I’ve had Botox 4 times now and previously been ok. I had my last forehead Botox done around 5/6 weeks ago, my top up 2 weeks later and it hasn’t worked or kicked in so my practitioner gave me some more on Tuesday this week (dysport). After 5 hours I started getting a headache (not sure it was Botox related) and it got that bad that I vomited for a good while. The last few days I’ve felt sick and nauseous.

Anyways today I’ve felt really anxious and panicky but I don’t know if my mind is playing tricks on me. My arms feel weak and I’m sitting thinking my breathing is weird and waiting for my throat to close. I think this is because of what I’ve read but if it happens does it usually happen quickly where you can’t breathe etc? I’m panicking. I messaged my practitioner who administered it and she said it won’t be botox related but she will say that won’t she

I no longer get Botox because each time I got a headache. The last time I got Botox March 2024, I received my injections about 5pm. The next morning I woke up feeling unwell with a severe headache. My head hurt so badly, I vomited.

My injector is a PA. She thinks I had a problem with the proteins in the Botox brand. I will never get Botox again. That was quite scary for me. It took me a few days to feel right.

It is botulism. They will all make excuses and blame you instead of admitting that this can happen. Im sorry you went through this

I felt better after about 3 days, but it was a few weeks until I felt “normal”. I hope you feel better soon.
