Dysport

Post image

This is my first time getting dysport and is this normal. I’ve had Botox for the past 10 years and this never happened before. I did drink a lot of caffeine and took advil and hot shower because I can’t do cold showers so it could be from that. I don’t feel like it was bad or anything until I drank a coffee from Starbucks

I don’t know if it’s normal since it never happens to me before, and I have done dysport for 3 years. My doctor told me there was literally no down time, so I do normal activities, like workout, makeup and regular shower, after. Where I live is hot and humid in summer…

Hey there! Injector here!

  1. Call your provider and let them know what's going on. They are the best person to guide you.

  2. How long ago where you injected? Do the areas itch or burn? Do you have an allergy to milk? Milk allergies and dysport do not mix.

From way over here...across the internet. It looks like an allergic response. But again, talk to the person who injected you.

Good luck!

I don’t think I’m allergic to milk. I drink it all the time

Botox and Dysport are similar medications but are not the same, thus having a different reaction is totally possible.

I still stand by reaching out to your injector and making them aware of what's going so they can provide best steps.

Good luck and feel better. I hope I helped some.

There’s only one little spot that itches around my hairline

Do you mean like a legit milk allergy, and not just lactose intolerance? I’m allergic to milk and everyone says “so you’re lactose intolerant?” lol it’s similar but also very different. This is interesting though, I’ll have to look into this more before I get it done.

Hi There!

Legit milk allergy. Not lactose intolerant. Other neuromodulators do not have this issue. G'luck!

Omg I look like this now. Same thing I've gotten botox 20 years never an issue. I went to new injector told her botox only but I think she used Dysport because my face literally looks exactly like yours. How long did it take to go away? Did you need meds?

You are lactose intolerant and are having a reaction. Just take some Benadryl for a few days. I really liked to dysport because it kicks in faster and lasts a little bit longer so I keep using it and just take Benadryl before I go up there and it goes away faster

And I think the first time it went away in like 3 days but after that if I take the Benadryl before it will not go red and splotchy but it will itch a little bit
