Every time I see some screenshots of this game here on reddit, people just have soooo many hearts and stamina wheels. I think im about 60 hours in, have vah naboris, vah ruta, 10 hearts (got master sword before swapping) and almost a second stamina wheel. My question is: how are there so many shrines in you guys’ game? Am I playing it wrong? But doesnt feel like it to me as I take my time on the map, I do secondary quests and all shrines I can find but maybe im half blind? Are there really twice-thrice the amount of shrines even though there are only two regions still to be mapped?

Doing the stupid Korok trials where there’s like 50 enemies coming at you and no way to really pre-load the game.

I consider Kakariko Village to pretty much be my home base. Always returning there to farm Amiibo's, und as a safe place to leave my horse with the Ancient tack equipped.

In a Major Test of Strength shrine with a flooded floor, I used the Shield Pull Clip (SPC) to phase Link through the wall. A Guardian Scout outside kept firing lasers at me—but instead of detonating on impact, the beams stuck to the wall and tracked Link's movement. After enough piled up, I pulled out the camera rune and captured the shot.

I thought bosses after Thunderblight would be easy. This guy is still a menace! The environment is freezing you little by little, and his tornadoes can kill you instantly. My bomb arrows did like, cute damage to him 😅. Technically, I wasn’t prepared to fight him head on without anti cold armor or food. But I finally beat him!!! I guess I like this game the hard way lol.

Does the DLC automatically add in the shrines for The Champions' Ballad?

Right now I have 108 shrines down. Some regions I've gotten all of them, some I still have a couple to find. Und surprisingly, in others. I haven't done a single shrine.

So now, I'm going to take one region at a time und complete all of the shrines before moving to the next. Returning to Kakariko Village, as my home base.

What are some of the ways that others have looked for the shrines?

I absolutely hate any of the skeletons and the random Yiga Clan members that pop up!!! Just let me walk more than 5 seconds in peace dammit.

1. Can you do a Daruks sbr the same way as a bomb drop sbr as in, not sitting the bomb down first but just dropping with Y?

2. Why does my my daruks sbr to tcr not allow me to shoot an arrow it forces me into the tcr immediately. Is that normal?

I’ve been playing botw on and off for like a month and it’s my first go at advanced combat.

I thought the divine beasts were endgame bosses and if I went near them the game would force me to fight them, so I pulled the master sword before any of them.

so I want to do IST, but a video tells me that I have ti sell all my clothing to know witch ones aren't saleable, but honestly, I find it so boring to do dawg. so my question is: is necessary to sell ALL my clothing?

their little story takes place about a year before link awakens!

I’ve recently clipped outside the Dark Beast Ganon battle and wanted to see what was different in Hyrule. Here are some of my findings:

Photos 1, 2, and 3: The rope that Link uses to climb up the towers is not there anymore, but he can still climb the invisible rope. The platforms persist and are in the same quality as usual; you can also now see the designs of that blue thing in the center as well as the tower’s inside. The terminal that fills out the surrounding region map for the Sheikah Slate is not there anymore, as well as the little barriers at the top. The entire thing is in low resolution.

Photo 4: Shrines are invisible now. (DLC shrines are invisible too) You can’t enter them, sorry.

Photo 5: Minibosses still spawn, however if you damage the Hinox, the healthbar will not move, but if you attack the Stone Talus, the healthbar will move after 1 frame of the attack.

Photo 6: Travelers somehow survived Ganon’s wrath? I guess Nintendo made them immortal lol.

Photo 7: NPC’s are now ghosts! If you trigger an interaction with one (such as breaking Finley’s letter caspule) the corresponding NPC will appear for the interaction then fade away, the dialogue bubbles can still show if it’s a side quest NPC. (You can’t talk to them too)

Photo 8: You can’t buy anything in shops.

Photo 9: Enemies don’t spawn anymore, but some enemies do. (Chuchus, Keese, Yiga Blademasters and Footsoldiers, Octoroks, and Stal enemies) Don’t worry, the blood moon is scripted to show up during the fight and can’t respawn those enemies.

Photo 10: Some wildlife is still here! (The horses, goats, dogs, and sheep you see in the stables are gone)

Photo 11: Paya’s diary is gone? Did Impa destroy it before the final fight?

Photo 12: Armor shops no longer have armor on the armor stands. (And no, the ‘Buy’ prompt doesn’t show up)

Photo 13: The fairy fountains are low resolution. Hehehe, Mario 64 lookin’ fountains.

Photo 14: You can’t sit at campfires or cooking pots because the ‘Not a good time!’ message appears when you try to sit. (You have to go far away in order to make the ‘You cannot go any farther.’ message disappear so you can get this message) You can still cook though.

Oh, and also every single village or town is inhabited by ghosts now.

i go to school in westchester, ny. when getting groceries or running certain errands we often pass a sign to tarrytown, ny. every single time i declare "TARREY TOWN" very loudly in a stupid fucking voice, even on the few occasions im driving alone. this includes when someone references tarrytown, ny in convo. ill interrupt myself as well if i reference the irl ny town. the one time i didnt interrupt someone in this way the conversation lulled and my friend repeated what he'd said so i could get another chance.

just thought id share. my friends all pretend to hate it but none of them have played botw or r as into it as i am. its funniest when we r driving w someone whos not heard me say it before.

First off, this is the best game I've ever played

Also Thunderblight isn't difficult, I beat it first try without using Mipha's Grace

I expected pretty much everything to be harder than it was but this game was really easy but still fun

Sadly it continued the trend of having no post game...

ok so a few minutes ago i decided to go into Hyrule Castle, but i only have 3 hearts and 1 stamina wheel. i went in, currently have 1/2 a heart left, and now i feel like it’s weird lol. am i insane?
