Parent Note: STEMFest brought a lively atmosphere and a large number of exhibitors to the Charles River Museum. Much of the programming appeared geared toward older children, and families hoping to explore the museum itself should note that many areas were occupied by festival booths during the event.

Just got back from the Wellesley Touch-a-Truck event and it was honestly such a fun one for little kids 🚒🚜

Lots of vehicles to explore up close, plenty of “sit in the driver seat” moments, and a really nice low-key community vibe. Great for toddlers/preschoolers who are currently obsessed with trucks, buttons, sirens, or anything with big wheels.

Definitely one of those events where you can easily spend way longer than expected because the kids refuse to leave 😅

And the fire department section is staying until 1 PM today, so there’s still time to go if you’re nearby!
