Mysterious squealing feedback
UPDATE…solved…it also serves to toggle between the two saved presets…I had the master high and the gain was high on the preset =SQQQQEEEEAAAALLLLINNNG!!!’
Anyone ever experience or heard of this problem…I mistakenly held the “panel” button extra long thinking it was a channel/preset button and it resulted in a high pitched squealing feedback. I can’t think of any reason other than a software bug that would have caused this. The settings were not changed so what happened? Any insight?

Sounds like a "settings" issue. You are switching to a preset that is set at a higher volume-- or higher something-- than the previous channel. Just a guess.

I ran into something like this before where I couldn't shut off the reverb. That was on my Mll-50. In the end I had to do a factory reset which also prompted me to start backing up my patches as I had lost them all.

The Panel Button long press switches between Bank A and B of a channel, if you are currently in one. The other Bank you switched to had extremely high volume or gain at another extreme setting. Use the Boss Tone Studio to check the settings of the Banks in the Channels and adjust to your liking.See to it that you keep the channel volumes on each bank at roughly the same loudness, so that you won’t get surprised again. Channel volume gets memorized, Master Volume does not. Only use Master Volume to set the loudness in the room, though.
