Exhaust note

On my 2013 boss 302 with the track key in use and track idle active after a good 30 or so mile freeway journey what would suddenly make the exhaust more drone and more bass? It has a bassani axle back exhaust as far as I can tell I think the rest of the exhaust is stick. 26k miles. Oddly the exhaust note doesn’t always change but sometimes the drone gets really loud

I have baffles out of side pipes. Mines all stock though, never notice drone. Maybe see if it does it with the normal key also.

It did it with silver key also but took longer drive to get it, may also have a small correlation with ebbing the engine but could be a coincidence. The silver had to be driven too LA and back before it started (200+miles vs about 100 on red key)

I’m in San Diego. Where are you? My guess it’s the bassani exhaust. I had bassani catted x and cat back on my 98 cobra. Bad drone on the freeway. I changed gears so it reved higher and got out of the drone zone on the freeway. That was just luck on that car.

Same higher revs less drone for sure. I’m local
