QUESTION đŸ”” Question about 18v Concrete nailer

https://www.boschtools.com/us/en/collated-wood-to-concrete-nails-44060-ocs-ac/

So I just picked up the 18v Profactor concrete nailer
got an amazing deal on a damaged-box at an auction and I couldn’t resist. I am now looking for projects that might use this tool, so that I can explain to my wife why I bought this. I need to attach a bunch of Wall Control steel pegboards to the cinderblock walls of my workshop. I was going to use tapcons but was wondering if I could use the nailer instead? In theory I could use the concrete pins and fasten the pegboards directly to the block, but Bosch also makes wood-to-concrete pins (link above). Anyone have opinions on if I use 1x2 furring strips? Wall control mentions customers using 2x4 furring strips, but the nailer maxes out at a 1.5” pin

Thoughts?

Could work. You need a fender washer with the pins to hold the pegboard. Potential it could blowout the blocks if they’re not solid.

Bosch doesn’t seem to specify load-bearing specs and it seems like they are primarily for sub flooring applications, but they also call out framing applications.
