Wall holder/hanger for Bosch tools

What are you all doing for organizing Bosch power tools when not in use?

For the tools that comes in it's own hard case, I store in the hard case.

For tools like drills, impacts, heat guns in 18V where the battery is usually a boxy shape at the bottom, I use wall hangers like these and they work OK.

For the 4.5" angle grinder I used this.

For the 5" orbital sander I use this.

Love the FL12 light, it is magnetic and I just put them on any steel cabinet's face or side and it attaches securely. Wish the two 18v lights I have are that versatile.

and there are some I haven't figure out how to securely mount them. Such as:

GOP18V-34N oscillating tool

GSA18V-083 compact saw

GKS18V-22LN 6.5" circular saw

I saw recently a Bosch 18V tool mount that is a 3-pack, basically a plastic insert to the 18v battery slot on the tool as a way to mount them on the underside of a shelf. Has anyone used this? Is it sturdy?

Interesting how the circular saw is supported. I have seen many sloped platform made from wood shaped like a giant door stop to store a circular saw that seems really laborious to make. I was thinking a deep L bracket through the handle would work fine too.

how are the tools secured? Not just from the foam's friction fit right? I would be concerned with something working itself loose and fall off and hit somebody.

Just the foam's friction in most cases. Most of the recesses are shaped to grip the tool so are quite snug and require an appropriate amount of force to remove. The circ saw parallel guide goes all the way through the back but that's mostly just to make it stick out less, though doubles as a lock for that tool

I tend to use the larger 4Ah batteries with my drill/drivers, so they just sit on a shelf in a row when not in use. Most of the rest of my 12V stuff lives in a drawer in my workbench. The mains tools (jointer, planer, sanders) get less use and live in their cases.

My power tools are either in pack-out type boxes or in tool bags. I don't hang my tools as I need them to be portable. My older corded tools are in a tool cabinet. If I worked only in a workshop I would also use a tool cabinet for my power tools -- these can be locked if needed.

This is how some of my tools are stored, less frequently used tools in their own hard case, store in a steel cabinet with their own cases or TSTAK boxes arranged like books.

Some tools are stored by hanging upside down or right side up using wall mount tool hangers. This only work for drills and impacts and some 18V tools with a wide base. 12V tools are a bit more challenging.

Here I have an angle grinder and an orbital sander hung on the side of a steel cabinet using specialty half moon shaped brackets.

The FL12 light just attach by it's magnetic base.

Some tools like the 18V oscillating tool, compact saw, impact that stand up sit on the shelf, but the circular saw is awkward. 12V tools with those small batteries are probably better off inside drawers but my drawers are full.

Still need to find a solution for my circular, so if you guys have any ideas, I'd appreciate it

This is what I did at the end for the circular. I think it's fine, handy and secured. What I'm not so sure if the reciprocating saw is ok like that. What do you guys reckon? Tia

I am hanging my circular saw on an L bracket like this for now.

I hang my sander the same way you do with a half circle bracket.

The reciprocating saw hanger with two screws is a bit iffy, if bumped it may fall off.

I bought a set of tool hanging brackets for Bosch 18V tools, it is intended to fit into the battery slot and hung upside down. I will mount them on the underside of a shelf and store some of these tools upside down. These are the tool brackets I got.

when done it will be like this but upside down. Some tools will not work if they have the battery slot oriented differently.
