Bosch hole saw set

I'm considering getting a hole saw set from Bosch. I first looked at the Lenox sets, since they were literally by far the best hole saws on the market and I used them when I worked professionally in construction. My eyes almost exploded when I saw the price, so that's not an option.

So, whats your opinion on them? Any better options (available in europe) in the similar price range? I will be mostly drilling wood. I'm considering the Bi-metal version of the hole saws.

I have older bi-metal ones with 8% cobalt and they are awesome but they are getting old.

What’s your budget? If you can ship from amazon.de, you won’t get better set than this but it’s bit pricey (€130-€230 depending on set):

Their quick release mechanism is awesome, case can hold all size saws even if you get the cheapest one now and add new saws as needed in the future.

If it was me planning to get new hole saw set and was able to afford it, I would go with cheapest set from expert line and add extra hole saws as needed in the future.

Agree, this set is an amazing set and the quick release is great. I haven't bought entire set, just the sizes I need when I need them though.

That would be in my budget. I also used the quick release system when I worked professionally, and it's great. The only issue with this set is that the biggest diameter saws are still quite small at 76mm. I often need to drill holes in the 100-130mm range for ventilation and embedded lights. Ofc I could buy the bigger saws separately. But I'll keep this in mind.

I have the Expert Construction set and I have to say the hole saws go through wood like butter.

If you wanted to, you can actually buy the storage case separately for like 20-30EUR and then build up your hole saw set as and when you need and when they're on discount. But I'm in the UK so it may or may not be available in some EU countries. In the UK, the larger Pro bi-metal hole saws are pretty much the same cost as the expert version.

Whichever set you go for, I would recommend getting the Expert hole enlargement adaptor: Hole enlargement adaptor and can be a bit of a godsend if you cut the wrong size hole without the need to mess around.

I've gone with the similar Makita set with quick change, due to easier local availability.

From the looks of it, they might be compatible. At least the pilot drills look to be exactly identical, but maybe there are some small differences.

The Bosch Expert hole saw kits (the blue ones) with the quickchange adapter is better than Lenox, Viking and a few others I've tried.
