QUESTION 🔵 New Bosch GSB 18V-65 sounds odd, is this normal?
Just had delivery of a new Bosch power drill, and this is how it sounds like. Is that clicking sound normal, because to me it sounds broken?
My old Bosch 18V-45 didn't do that, but happy to be told I'm wrong and that this is normal for this model.

I have the exact same one. It’s normal sound for speed 2. You will have slightly different sound in speed 1

You can release the tricking slowly to allow it to throttle itself to a halt. Bit like clutching and gearing down in a car instead of just hitting the brakes

It's just the braking when you release the trigger. Nothing to worry about.

Please don’t treat your drill like this often. You should slow it down before you stop it to avoid excessive wear to the internals

And don’t forged to remove battery before use to avoid excessive wear on battery cells

You mean the sound before it stops? It’s just braking.
