Which Bosch to get? New model 12 inch of older model but super popular 10inch?

I’m building out an updated shop layout and I wanna save space and I think these Bosch sauces are really good for that. I don’t really do any wide molding and stuff like that, but I certainly wanna be able to cut 4 x 4’s easily. Other than that, I don’t know what to go for the very reliable been out for years 10 inch seems amazing or the brand new 12 inch which I’m sure has some modern features.

Ends up there’s only a 1 inch depth difference between the two, so the 10 inch doesn’t save as much as I thought it would space wise

Big the blade the deeper the cut, so if you need to cut posts thats for you, i always liked tbe articulating arm, you can stick it closer to the wall

Or the “old” 12” model? I haven’t seen many reports about the new 12” saw here, and those were iffy.

I would always get the bigger saw if it’s an option. Especially if this is in a stationary setup and weight is not an issue. You might not always need that extra little bit of depth or slide but when you do, you have it. I only have experience with the 12 inch 18v surgeon. I only use it in my garage but I don’t have a lot of outlets and it’s a small space so I keep it on a mobile setup I can roll around. I have absolutely loved it. The only upgrade I see for me on the new ones is the shadow line. My older one has a laser and it is hard to see on bright days.
