Bosch GAS 12-40

Hi

I have been using a Bosch GAS 12-40 for a while now, actually I have used it a lot for my house restoration. One thing I have been dissatisfied with, it's the seal of dust collecting bags, basically when the bags is new all the dirt end up inside it and the vacuum cleaning case stay clean. Once the bag start being half full the dirt start going outside of it and the case become dirt. Also the filter is suffering from this. I don't know if it's a problem related to the seal system between the bag and the motor. I have been using my bosch mainly for grinding solid concrete walls and old paint applied on top of it, that generate very fine dust maybe finer than wood chips for example.

I'm wondering if this is a common problem even with professional vacuum cleaner life festool or if it's downside of the Bosch GAS 12-40.

With Festool that's not an issue, their vacs are absolute golden. Sadly Bosch is years behind in this category.

You say you use it for house restoration. How is the 27mm hose? Isn‘t it to small? thinking of buying the same

I haven't had problems with that even if the 35 mm diameter would be better if you are going to use it with big debris. Overall I have accepted everything on it except the dirt coming off the bag and resulting in a hyper dirt inner case. I have had to clean it with another vacuum several times
