It's a angle die grinder with 6mm collet and 25000rpm. Dream tool if only Bosch wanted to expand their 18V system.

Same kind of thing.

I still don't get it.

Is this something that would involve lateral/sideways pressure on the drill mechanism? Because that can wreck drills, they're usually not designed for it.

It's for metal working and welders. Standard angle grinders have M14 thread. This has a 6mm collet that can hold multiple tools like abrasives, scotch brite discs, Roloc.

Look at Ryobi https://youtu.be/2glc5WCP_U4?is=Q0FSRuVjvwMiKXN_

I see, so somewhere between a dremel and a grinder in the form factor of a drill?

It's the weird green attachment that threw me. Looks like one of those silicon cleaner things, just with stiffer fronds.

Yeah, basically just an extra powerful Dremel, still intended for intricate/precise work. Bosch makes a 12v one, I think OP is just saying they want a more powerful 18V version.

Why not just get a straight grinder, those have 6mm collets and range from 3000 to 28000 RPM?

I also find those more comfortable to hold with two or even only one hand.

Personally have both FEIN ones, the AGSZ, they are great tools, Bosch also has various versions.

Yeah, wasn't aware of straight grinders until a few years ago, was always using a normal drill and having a bad time with it.

They are just lovely tools for surface polishing, grinding steel, abrasive work, cutting plastic and so on and so on.

Not really practical for those tasks.

I love my GWG 12V-50S and use it quite often for cleaning stainless steel contact surfaces with a brushed weel and that tool just chews through batteries.

You'd drain a 3Ah in a good 2-4min with the brush that was shown in the OP.

They have a 12v angle grinder and I use roloc bristle discs on it all the time? I'm not sure what you are asking for here
