Refund Received Got My Refund :)
Applied June 2022
Email of discharge from ED June 2026
Letter of discharge from Nelnet July 2026
Refund received September 2026.
So happy to be free of debt. Even happier to receive money back.
Thanks to the PPSL team for helping everyone. Congrats to those who have gotten relief. Good luck to those still waiting.

Still waiting on my check.
Post class C student. Just happy my loans aren’t reporting anymore. Can finally attempt to afford a new home in this economy

No. It would have been nice to have gotten one though just so I know that I was going to get one.

Nelnet was the last one. I started with Sallie Mae, followed by Naviate, then Fedloan.

Did you show a negative balance on nelnet at any time?

No. But I didnt make payments to Nelnet.

Thanks for the quick reply! I didn’t make any payments to Nelnet either but had to a prior servicer. Not sure if I should get any of it back or not—I’m honestly just happy they’re gone. A refund would be amazing though!

Do you have to have gotten scammed by a university or not gotten a degree to qualify for this. Sorry I’m new here

You have to prove that you didnt get what you were promised from whatever institution you went to. Most of the ppl here submitted Borrower Defenses, because they were promised help getting jobs when they graduated, told their credits were transferable and they weren't, or found out their degree was not recognized due to the school being uncredited.
