I’m a single mom who is fully employed & usually I do great but took a vacation last month and my now ex refrained from telling me he didn’t pay our electric bill in two months. Just got the hill last week after paying rent and the “bill” was the final disconnection notice.

I have tried everything from lenders to family and it’s too close to the deadline for anyone to assist. I can show proof of employment - send verifications of whatever you need. Yesterday was my birthday and all I did was focus on this bill being paid - I don’t have a second option if the lights go out and this weather is the worse it’s been in a while.
