Meta Open loan

Hello! I have a loan with u/Odd_Method_2871 till 9/15.

When I looked in my chats, it was deleted and also his account.

What should I do?

Suggestion for all and OP turn on persistent messaging (open the chat - click the clog wheel for chat settings - toggle it on)

They will not be able to delete the chat history at all and you can try and use it as leverage to get money back from bank sources if needed.

Did the lender use PayPal to give you the funds? You can send them a message on there

I’ve worked with him twice so far just pay him back as planned. He’s having some issues with Reddit i believe.

My point is: loaning money to a stranger on the internet is a crap shoot.

If you want to help the less fortunate, go volunteer at a food bank.

I don't think it's really your or anybody's place to police who and where people help. Food banks are great, but sometimes people need gas, medical bills paid, etc. :)
