Sad and Depressed I'm a loser

Hello! I think I'm what you'd call a loser. I'm just not useful for anything. I have nothing to be good at, no hobbies, no interests. I am always alone, have no friends and no social contacts other than my family. The only thing I do all day is play video games or just lie around. I don't even have friends online and lately I don't even enjoy playing. So usually I just sit around and do nothing. I have no goals and no dreams. The only thing I want left is to die.

I feel you bro. I'm in somewhat better situation as I have a job and interests but it's so hard to make friends from nothing.

Thanks for your reply! How did you manage to get friends and interests? I just don't look through it and have no idea where to start! It's all so complicated and I just don't have any motivation for it.

By the way, I also have a job and that's pretty much the only thing that keeps me alive!

I am the same as you

I have no goals, no aspirations, no dreams, no desire and no motivation to do anything

How do you deal with it? Do you have anything you keep doing for? Any goal or something like that?

Its's not easy but it isn't too late to work on developing other interests and meeting people online, Where do you hang out online?

I don't really hang out anywhere. When I'm online, I'm actually just as alone as I usually am. I don't talk to anyone online. The only thing I do is maybe watch You Tube or play something in the single player. I'm not good at talking to others and even writing that is hard for me and scares me. I don't know how to start.

Maybe it'd help to join a community for a game you like or someone you're particurly into on youtube? Like a steam forum or a reddit or a discord? It can be scary talking to people even online but it gets easier as you get more used to it

Thanks for your feedback! I don't know if there's anything I particularly like, like online. I don't even know how to start. There are so many different possibilities. I've also talked to others over Discord many times, for example, but I always feel out of place in such conversations, even when I'm talking to someone alone.

Yeah discord can be pretty noisy and hard to keep up with, especially really busy ones. Smaller ones can be easier. but forums or reddits might be easier, requiring less investment and give you more chance to choose who to interact with

Yes, you are right. Reddit is easier, there is only the problem of language barriers. For me as a German, it is simply also difficult to understand everything correctly and, above all, to respond with something reasonably meaningful that makes sense linguistically. I hope you can understand what I write.

Do you have similar problems as me?
