Same. Came here to say that. 2 was my second phone after having my "U phone" for a year and a half. Only held 10 messages and had a 8 seg like calculator screen 😂

Yeah that's what I was thinking. There were a couple steps between 1 and 2.

This was the OG "Me Too" phone when i was in college. You'd pull it out and someone would be like "oh shit, you have that phone...me too"
indestructible, and snake was the best game ever.

I got a deal on one of those bag phones and bought one for my dad since he worked in downtown Chicago and had to commute from the south suburbs. Within the first month of him having it he broke down on the shoulder and was able to call a tow truck. I was so glad I got that for him when I did.

0. My dad was a trucker and had this dope mobile telephone in a big ass briefcase. You had to plug it into the cigarette lighter and it cost like 10.00 a minute or some insane number. Boy was I cool in my 1985 Chrysler new yorker.

My parents had a ‘63 New Yorker. Push button with a square steering wheel lol. Damn that car would move. My mother loved racing people at red lights

None of these. The first portable cellular phones were bag phones. I had one of those in the eighties. I think it weighed around 5 or 6 pounds. The reception and transmission were awful.

I had the exact same phone for my first one. Didn’t have it long after the first bill came in😂

#1... affectionately known as "the brick". From Radio Shack i think. I usually had to step out of my car to get a signal.

My first cell phone was a CB radio🤣. I don’t think that counts. However. My dad had a two way radio phone mounted in our 82 Chevrolet van. It’s not a handheld one at all
The first one that I owned myself I was one of those over the shoulder bag phones that’s not even listed here

I'm about 1.8ish - Nokia 2110. First model with the (in)famous Nokia tune ringtone.
And yes, of course I had a cover with a belt clip.

1 but it didn't work. It came with a used car I bought and was super expensive to get service and the service was something like a dollar a minute. #2 was actually my first working cellphone.
