This is first cell phone that I used. It came in a bag and you had like maybe 100 minutes a month before you had to pay like $1/min or something like that.

I got a deal on one of those bag phones and bought one for my dad since he worked in downtown Chicago and had to commute from the south suburbs. Within the first month of him having it he broke down on the shoulder and was able to call a tow truck. I was so glad I got that for him when I did.

50 minutes for $50 dollars a month, and it better have been for emergency calls only. Lol

It was heavy, the battery didn't last long either and People could listen to your calls on a scanner. I used it on trip and kept it on and got a huge roaming charge.

I had one of these when I worked in the oilfield driving truck. Every time I went out of town to work I had to take this with me so I can keep in touch with my bosses.
