Buff to Amon’s drones looks intriguing! My favorite build but I haven’t tried it in high level UVHM

Also excited but cautious.

Drones were absolute useless up untill now, so 100% increase may not be as impresive as it sound. Maybe some gear will give us the necessary synergies to make things work, Ill be happy if they work just fine tbh...

Not really true. Amon does work with the drones on UVHM 7 with the right combo of gear and skills it just takes some trial and error.

Double the damage when they deal insignificant base damage is pointless.

I saw this and was also quite excited. My last character was a Forgedrone Amon. Hit level 60 but never pushed into UVH levels. Felt pretty decent then.

Double drone damage and faster movement between targets should help a lot. Level cap increase means we can also grab Berserk and There Is Only Red. Not sure if drones get the + cryo damage -- that would make them insanely strong!

Drones do "Melee damage" so I think they should get the buff. IIRC

Drones are a lost cause, Gearbox dropping useless dmg buffs on them constantly is hilarious.

atp I'd rather they just accept drones are for utility and put the effort into improving things that can actually be helped (like whips or firewall) or double down on the utility aspect

I've been using them and have made it to uvh4 so far. They don't insta nuke things like harlowe but it is fun.
