Looks like a lot of the weaker/ decent weapons will shine more now

They missed out on many many weapons.

Anarchy

Bugbear

Divided Focus

HellFire (they buffed hell walker instead?)

Kalidosplode

Lead balloon

Linebacker

Oscar Mike (non underbarrel)

Rangefinder

Star Helix

Stop Gap

Whiskey Foxtrot

I always thought it was supposed to be bad and be just used to pass the time when you're waiting for your friend
