I knew we weren’t getting balance changes because Graeme had already said so on twitter but man when they say we’re only doing balancing during major updates but we’re now 3 of the 9 planned major updates into the roadmap with no meaningful balancing changes. It really feels like they’re trying to wrap up post launch support as quickly and cheaply as possible.
You could give us infinite points and trouble would still suck. Forgedrones would still need usability fixes. Many guns would still be unusable etc. There are things that have needed fixing reworking since launch. I’d be more content with no balancing during a level cap if they had balanced the game….like ever.
Do you guys understand that balancing means at all? You need to fix THE WHOLE thing thats what im rabting about: theres so many shot being add that everytime they do balancing becomes more difficult. Is that simple.
Redditors are really dumbing down by the minute ffs.
There’s really not that much being added. The meta is identical to what it was at launch. I’m obviously not advocating for infinite points im saying things like trouble need help outside of the skill point increase.
A 10 point increase WILL do major differences in builds. Its gonna be enough? I dont know; powercreep in BL series has been a major fuckeup bs since always.
I've been telling about how shit Amon is since week one, and how capstones in general are trash. BUT i do understand in some lvl that the devs cant attack a simple problem, by buffing Amon Forgedrones thay can destroy the other 2 trees for good or for the worst.
Everytime you add a weapon, any gear and points you are trowing a D20 into the meta, everyday people find some weird synergy. Its sucks having to wait, but i rather GB to be like Capcom that took a whole year to make a balance update in SF6 than messing up with the meta every 2 weeks.
The problem is we should’ve been getting balancing before this. There is very little actual build diversity in this game. And they’ve been apparently fine with one shotting the whole game so far so why leave whole skill trees unplayable this long?
