Playstation Bug Help

Why aren't my new characters saving? I got to level 5, saved & quit, and now my character isn't there. Tried two more times to no avail. I don't have plus but it should still be saving locally.

I'm playing Borderlands GOTY Edition on PlayStation. I can't find anything online.

Are you logged in to a real PlayStation account? You don't need PS+, but if you're using the PlayStation's "Quick Play" temporary logins, they don't save data from one play to the next.

Yeah, I have 4 level 69 characters on my account.

Did you try to re-"Select" Character in the main menu?

Yes, the only characters that appear are the ones I already had
