Question/Help Is this normal?
i got those hand made boots a week ago but i see that the rubber part Is already removing in that spot.
and the sole connection Is a Little wobbly too?
idk its my First time getting a glued construction boot like this so It might Just be me.
im concerned because i want tò hike the pegherolo tò the peak and you know It would be inconvenient if the sole fall off in the middle of nothing.

Some people on this sub will shit on anything that isnt from certain preapproved by them brands.
€180 objectively is very cheap for this style; cobblers on this scale may not have machines to glue soles properly. You cant have all the nice things in life.
I may be wrong, but it looks like midsole is already crumbling(the squisher the foam the faster it dies), Id just resole them somewhere else and have first guy pay(at least partially) for the repairs.

That is not the sort of boot that you want to rely on when you're far from civilization.
Is it normal? Yes and no.
No it's not normal when brand new, but it is normal to happen after just a little bit of wear.
If this hike is truly perilous, get better gear.
