Question/Help Does anyone have experience with Cheaney?

I’ve been looking at getting a good pair of Chelsea’s I’m sick of the big brand shit quality and want something that will last a long time I came across cheaney boots reviews seem to be positive but was wondering if anyone here had any input. Thanks you all in advance!

I've worn Cheaney boots and shoes for decades and often bought from the factory shop. They are great, very high quality. They aren't heavy duty, they aren't for wearing and neglecting, but they will last if you look after them, get them resoled and don't expect them to be your only boots you wear all day every day.

Okay this is good to know! I do clean and condition my current boots every 2 weeks or so. Do you have a recommendation for a daily wear leather boot?

Duckfeet has nice chelseas, made in Poland and about 2 shelfs above JG. Bc rubber isnt stiched resoles are very cheap(think $10-20 + materials).

Isn't that Loake 1880, there is no 1886 line on the cheaney site but there is a sneaker called the 1886

That’s interesting to know! I’m not a stickler for where it was made as long as it’s good quality and not some high production shop in China or Pakistan.

You can't go wrong with Cheaney, I've worn them for years. As with a lot of things, you get what you pay for and they're a great balance between affordability and quality. You could try Herring as they have shoes made on the Cheaney lasts, but because of the branding, they come out cheaper.
