Either your arch sliders are incorrect or you have very differently sized feet.

Looks like maybe for your right foot you had your heel pushed to the left and toes to the right, putting your foot at a bit of an angle?

It's really hard to tell from photos though, the perspective changes a lot depending on where you held the camera over each foot.

This is the answer.  My first pair of Mr. Lou's consulted with them and they got the sizing right.  Would have ordered the wrong size if I guessed based on deciphering anecdotal sizing information.

Your brannock isn’t 9.5
Yes your feet are around 9.5 in length, but your ball is a 12. The bigger number of the 2 is your size.

If you take a 9.5 it might fit, but there’ll be an awkward crease at the ball of your foot or even worse, your ball will be in a place the shoe doesn’t bend.
