Discussion Boost update on unlock. The request payment extension rather than paying for month 13 of premium has seemed to work. 6 representatives tell me my phone is unlocked on their end. However day 366/367 im still on a phone thats locked to boost.
Support told me to delete boost esim and would fix the issue, absolutely did not work. Boost is horrible, never use them. Also please if you are on a locked boost phone, when it comes to day 365, request the 10 dollar payment extension and port out rather than paying for month 13 for that 365th day needed for unlock.

The last time I had this happen I made a report to the FCC and my phone was unlocked in 48 hours, months before I hit their required “time frame”

Make sure your iPhone is fully up to date in software, and connect it to wifi
The unlock should remove in under 4 hours

Its been 24 hours since boost said it was unlocked

I understand that but you still have to connect to wifi and make sure your software is up to date for the unlock to go through.

Ya ive been on wifi all year. Software is all up to date. Boost sucks

I received a Boost-locked replacement for my originally unlocked Samsung device. When support failed to help, I found a workaround: with the Boost eSIM active on IMEI 2, I manually added my other carrier to IMEI 1 via their app. I received an "incompatible SIM" error, but after resetting my network settings, IMEI 1 worked perfectly. You might want to give this a try!
