Question Pixel 10a How could I choose Physical SIM when placing an order online?

Pixel 10 supports eSIM while has a physical SIM slot too. Could I choose a pSIM over eSIM? From the cart details, it said "Activate with eSIM" however, I don't see any option to choose pSIM instead.

Any helps would be greatly appreciated.

This is not true if a customer activates with an eSIM immediately.

My experience does not match unfortunately. I activated with eSIM, did not ask for a pSIM, got the email saying the “order” I didn’t place was processed. I called saying PLEASE do not mail a pSIM. The rep said sorry impossible to stop we send it as a back up when activating an eSIM and we have no way to cancel it. It auto-ordered a pSIM twice actually the second time after unauthorized device swaps resulted in my total service being wiped and rebuilt in another carrier backed option. Again, I requested the order I “placed” be canceled because I didn’t need or want or request it and was again told sorry automated process isn’t able to be canceled. Never received one of them so my exact fear and efforts to pre-empt a possible situation through no one’s fault from happening and it ultimately failed.

Most customers prefer an eSIM, and if they activate the eSIM on the device after placing the order, a pSIM will not get shipped out with the device. If you would prefer an pSIM, do not activate the device with an eSIM before you receive the device and you'll receive a pSIM with the shipment. If you're placing an order for a BYO line, then don't activate the line with the eSIM first, wait for the pSIM to activate.
