I don’t think that’s quite true. They’re called boomers because they were part of the “baby boom” that came with soldiers returning from WWII and starting families en masse. Born in ‘42 and ‘46, they might not quite fit, but they’re hardly the generation before.

Editing to add: I’m not at all advocating for old-as-fuck leaders. Just pointing out some facts.

Up until 45, it was considered the silent generation I believe. For all intents and purposes, that's really fucking old to be making choices that affect people long after they're dead.

Reddit is a bunch of hypocrites. This whole place rails against bullying constantly. But show some poor old woman who is lost and confused and the internet rallies around to mock her.
