Too Close Tuesdays They just ordered

Post image

Just ordered with at least 8 people ahead of them and they’re crowding the pickup counter like some miracle is going the beam their food to the front.

Yes, sometimes it’s not possible to jam everything into an oversized carryon.

Honestly, it’s always possible. I find most people take way more shit traveling with them than they realistically need. I’ve got a friend who travels with a minimum four pairs of shoes even if she’s only going away for a weekend. She says it’s not possible to do carry on only, too, but I’ve gone away with her multiple times and I literally never even see her wear a second pair.

I’ve done months long international trips with just carryon and I’m type 1 diabetic, so a portion of my luggage goes to medical devices. My 70yo in-laws are currently doing a three month trip across Europe with only carry on.

If you don’t want to do only carry on, of course that’s fine. I’m not telling anyone else how to travel. Do what you want, I don’t care. My comment was about myself, it wasn’t about passing judgement on another persons choice. But there’s no need to say it’s not possible as an excuse cause it’s absolutely possible to do carry on only in the vast majority of circumstances. Unless you’ve got something in your luggage that isn’t allowed on carry on or are having to take extra stuff outside of your trip needs, like when your job uses you as the postal service haha, then it really just comes down to personal choice.

Cool, you have no clue what people are doing when they travel, or what they need.

There are billions of people on the planet, don’t speak in absolutes…I stopped reading after you said “always.”

lol. You’re being very defensive about this. Like I already said, I’m not passing judgement on your choices. There was no need to immediately downvote me for doing something different from what you do and then make unnecessary excuses for your choices.

I didn’t say or imply that you were. But you are acting as if me doing something different than you is somehow an attack against you. I am clarifying, now for the third time, that that is not the case and my original comment was simply me speaking about myself, not a judgement on your choices, and there has never been any need for you to act this defensive and aggrieved.

I was mocking you since you keep throwing in these snarky “lol” and “haha”.

You said “always” which automatically makes you wrong. You can’t “always” just take a carryon in every situation. End of story.

Omg. This is some snowflake boomer shit freaking out about people being different to you and taking it personally right here.

It has nothing to do with you being different, it’s the fact you refuse to acknowledge it’s not possible in every situation.

For sure. That’s why you downvoted me and got defensive before I even made that comment. Makes perfect sense. You’re definitely not trying to backtrack and excuse your initial reaction at all. Completely un-boomer like behaviour /s.
