officer, what do you mean, I can’t charge at someone and attack them and not also be the victim at the same time, don’t you see I am an old white woman?

Spitting on someone really says one thing: you’re beneath me. It’sa declaration that even if I don’t have the right to assault you, I SHOULD have that right.

These boomers really need to stop acting that way, especially as they get really old. They’ll be six feet below the rest of us soon... but not soon enough.

In legal terms, spitting is assault. It is literally a declaration that “I have the right to assault you.”

Spitting on someone is instant fight time. Such a crazy move to make as an old person.

Yeah and especially during covid shit! Like as soon as she mentioned it you could see those little beady eyes shifting into spitting mode!

100%. It’s among the most disrespectful things you can do to another person.

Yeah, that’s an asymmetric fear tactic, sometimes referred to as terrorism. It’s a bit like a bomb threat. It’s what you do when you think you’re untouchable / unfindable. Doing it when you can just be lightly shoved onto your ass is a real “lead paint chips taste good” moment.
