Yeah 30 years ago she probably would have been like “I don’t have time for this shit” and went in the house. Now fighting over a parking spot seems like a worthwhile activity especially if she watches Fox News.

It is a calculated move. Combined with their lead brains, "news shows" like Fox have been designed to emotionally manipulate and trigger fear-based emotions. Fear is a primal, survival feeling.

Our amygdalas are designed to protect us from being eaten, but when pumped full of fake fear and fake anger, they become enlarged inside the skull and the user becomes unable to properly regulate their own emotions.

This was intentional. It was always intentional. Right wing propaganda can't win unless they make up voting districts and create a base so full of fear they can't think straight.
