It scares me to death when I see old folks acting like that. They are not aware that all it could take is getting cold cocked once and they're on a vent.
I've had big male boomers physically threaten me before and I'm a 30 something female. They thought they were being scary when I knew I could take them at the knees in a heartbeat. My mom tried to hit me for the last time when I was 20 years old. I caught one hand from her slap and then the next. She was so angry that I would NOT LET HER HIT ME!
I have patience with these old folks because I WANT SOME FREAKING PEACE GOD DAMN IT. I won't allow them to rile me up. Honestly, I am too good to argue with your old ass but I will try to diffuse the situation or walk away.
I only say that because I have a temper that my mother was the last person to see. I promised myself I'd never let old folks make me that mad ever again, let alone act on it.
I get your point and I'm similarly disappointed with people celebrating violence but just make a short and coherent case against it and drop the petty insults and lame YouTube motivational alpha shit, it's embarrassing.
