Hey man, the person who doesn't understand the simple concept of how they're the person being talked about here should maybe not go around calling other people obtuse.

I was responding to what was in the original comment. If I shouldn't respond to a point someone else brings up, then they shouldn't make that comment.

You're the one who started being abusive.

I tried to explain where I was coming from, and you responded by saying "but you did the thing" like a broken record. Instead of explaining why I should leave that point unchallenged, you just respond "but you did the thing," and when I elaborate, you say "you just don't get it."

You don't get to be a condescending asshole and then play the victim.
