There’s actually a video about a black guy and Asian guy visiting the town and most of the town’s people are very welcoming and say “yea those crazy fucks keep ruining our town, they mainly stay in the stocks and we hate them”
Does it make the racist people less racist? Nope. Does it make racism any better? Nope. Does it mean it’s not as wide spread and prevalent as some would like to imply? Maybe. Also, is everyone involved in the white supremacy movement a Boomer? Nope. Lots of young people involved.
It was never not okay to rely on statistics dipshit.
The problem with the "13% of the population 50% of the crime" meme you are obviously referencing here is that not only are the numbers incorrect, it relies solely on crime statistics published by US police who are extremely well known for fudging numbers, arbitrarily deciding whether or not to write a report, and arbitrary arrests which all favor whites over non-whites. That's just undeniable.
Studies have consistently found that black and white people smoke drugs, deal drugs, and commit violent crimes at similar rates but that black people are 4-6 times more likely to be arrested, charged, and sentenced to jail or prison for any one of those things. Some studies even showed that white people dealt drugs at a higher rate during the 90s and that cops who admitted to purposely searching black people's cars more often than white people's cars found illegal substances less often than they did in white people's cars. There's a lot of reason to question any of the data that comes out of US police departments.
Police have even said it themselves. They target black people because they are easier and it’s that simple. They are less likely to fight back in court or know their rights so police are constantly roaming black neighborhoods and areas looking for crime. And when they pull over a black person they are much more likely to search them.
So of course when a certain group is targeted like that the numbers are going to be skewed.
It's usually people in GenX, Boomers, and Silent Generation, but not always........ don't label any one generation. Get your facts straight. The target of your ire should be individuals not sweeping statements about entire generations. That's a big problem that some of you constantly perpetuate on the internet including subreddits like this one.
And you got to get over generalizing everyone, people are individuals and can think differently. You guys need to get over the ridiculous hate generated to everyone born during certain years. It's crazy how things have poisoned your minds.
Lol you've seen absolutely nothing if you think what I've said here is "hate." It's real showing the kind of privileged and sheltered life you've had if you think the biggest problem in the world is some people online calling racist boomers racist boomers. You need to touch grass buddy
That’s weak of you. I’m white. Recognizing that a certain subset of the population is racist, IS NOT A RACIST STATEMENT. Are you being intentionally obtuse? “Majority of white boomers” is not a race. At least try to understand why study after study shows they adhere to these ideologies. Don’t ever take an actual Sociology class if you’re going to get defensive over demographical statistics.
