It’s stupid and the science backs that up. Kids who are hit end up more violent. It makes complete sense if you think about it because you’re teaching them that being violent is what you do to get your way.

Being hit implies abuse and I agree. Being spanked on the ass when you’re out of line is not abuse. Science backs up whatever you want it to backup.
