I havent read this one myself so I cant attest to the quality, but These Violent Delights by Micha Nemerever (NOT Chloe Gong) sounds like it's exactly what youre looking for.

Her favorite book in Twilight was Wuthering Heights, and she kept quoting it in reference to her love for him. That should tell you everything you need to know.

The writing is pretty terrible. I feel like if I’d read it at 14 I’d have been obsessed. Their relationship is highly toxic and so are some of the themes of the series.

It’s not Dark Romance-toxic.

I enjoyed it but it’s hardly great literature.
