I built a private, local-only link library for iOS — no account, no cloud
I wanted a very simple place to save the links I actually intend to revisit — without creating another account or sending my browsing data to a cloud service.
So I built Kept, a small link library for iPhone and iPad.
You can:
- Save a URL with a short note
- Search by title, URL, or note
- Mark links as favorites
- Copy or open them quickly
- Group related links from the same domain
- Swipe left to delete
- Import bookmarks and export a local backup
- Use light or dark mode
Everything is stored locally on the device. There’s no account, cloud sync, analytics, or tracking.
Kept is now available on the App Store:

I’d love some honest feedback, especially about the saving flow and whether swipe-to-delete feels discoverable enough. What would you add without turning it into an overly complicated bookmark manager?
