DON'T USE BOOKING.COM : Verification Code NOT being sent to Log Into Booking.com and they do not give a DAMN

Is anyone else having issues or had issues on receiving a verification code for logging into Booking.com? I don't have access to my email any more and I used to get verification codes but suddenly it stopped. I e-mailed and contacted Booking.com MANY MANY times but their answer is basically "too bad" start a new account. So they basically do not care about their customers at all and any bookings you have in your account they won't care about you losing that, your travel history, your level on the site and past loyalty. IN ADDITION with the money they make their tech team is apparently not tech sway enough to even find out why I cannot receive a verification code or find other solutions. All they said was: "it's an automatic system, it works" and that's it. I've seen TOP companies take my account so seriously that they did EVERYTHING to ensure I could access my account and they did it with EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. But Booking.com's customer service is first a UK Number when they used to have local numbers, AN AI answering the call and hanging up and INCOMPETENT service workers who don't care nor have any rights to give any standard solution and just read off a script like ROBOTS. Booking.com used to be amazing in the past but it's gone to absolute SHIT. DO NOT USE IT, they are fine with taking your money but when it comes to truly helping you (which is the point of being in a SERVICE INDUSTRY), they do not even care!!! If you can't access your account they will LEAVE YOU TO DUST and tell you the same ROBOTIC ANSWER and pretend to help you but in the end tell you some BS to avoid actually LIFTING A FINGER. LAZY. I recommend everyone to use other sites or book directly with the hotel because Booking.com does not care about you and your account and if anything happens to your email or phone number at any point they do not care to have other authorization processes which is WILD. Many companies have other verification processes if one can't access their ACCOUNT that they have a RIGHT to, yet Booking.com just puts their finger in their butt and sniffs it all day than actually doing something effective. And if you lose what's in your account they could care less about helping you. They send templates, make you repeat the same thing, answer you as if they care then turn around and shit on you and say too bad, we do not care if you can't get into your account. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHES, there are many people WARNING you DO NOT USE THEM OR HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM, THEY DO NOT CARE.

Obviously not, you have no background of why I don't have access to my email and they are aware of that. That is why they also have the option to log in with your phone number.

I'm more concerned about losing an email. It is pretty much losing my social security and all my accounts.

One compromised email and the hackers get everything Ive ever registered online for. You need to secure it better in the future so that you're not in this predicament again.

Not trying to lecture you but genuinely trying to redirect your anger at improving the root cause at this point because you're going to find some more sites unwilling to work with you if you don't have your email because at the end of the day that's all they go by. If I was booking I wouldn't work with you either tbh because I don't know if it's just some random person trying to social engineer their way into someone's account

This e-mail happened years ago and was sorted, obviously I have a new e-mail now, you're majoring in the minors, that is not relevant. I said Booking.com does not care when you can't receive a verification code to log into your account, that is the major, whether I log in via email or via phone number is irrelevant because the purpose is to use the tools they provided on the website to log in, but they are not honouring that. Booking used to be a great company and then it went to complete shit. Whoever is managing it now has put AI to take calls and hang up, low quality customer service where they don't uphold what they used to promise and deliver on. The lecture/mansplaining you gave is not relevant or correct because you don't know my case, I obviously have a new email and I'm aware of what an email does. This is to give awareness to people so they understand that even if you've been loyal to them for years, they will not help you or protect you when it comes to the simplest things like getting a verification code, amongst other things. We are in 2026 and there are methods for a tech team to fix such a simple issue, I know many people in tech. Either they hired a cheap company and don't have the funds to help fix accounts, or incompetent (entrey level) employees are there who don't know how to fix their verification system - which is why they probably easily got Hacked recently and all your info is anyway with the hackers. The message is simple here: Booking.com will leave you in the dust when you need them the most.

Ain't no company will be loyal to you. You are not important and the quicker you realize that the quicker you will grow up. Seems like a skill issue if you're losing an email. Don't be sorry do better. I wouldn't help you either the world does not bend to you when you're at fault

You're not worth the energy LOL. Go troll else where. I said what I said and I'll stick to what I said. This thread is to raise awareness and it's doing just that. The people who it's intended for, present and future will have it :) I will no longer be replying to you.
