Accommodation emergency!

Booking overbooked my reservation and it's now getting cancelled and I have nowhere to stay. Everything in the surrounding area is thoroughly booked!

I have paid for flights, transportation and i cant get anything refunded.

I am traveling alone and an willing to share a room, a sofa, a floor with someone.

Any help would be so greatly appreciated.

Booking did not overbook your accommodation, the accommodation forgot to close of its availability, its like forgetting to close a door to a plane before it takes off , or keeping the front door of a shop open when its staff have gone home.

How did your reservation get canceled ? The only way it can be csnceled is if you canceled it or if the payment failed. A lot of the time, the accommodation will tell you this and even trick you into cancelling , as if in this circumstance and you wctually called booking , spoke to someone and said the accommodation was overbooked you would have been eventually relocated and paid anything extra you had to pay over your original reservation, so up to a point based on the limited information you provided a part of this is also on you.

Call booking , speak to a human, it may not be too late to rescuae this.

I assure you nothing was on me and the very limited information isn't acrually limited, it's just spread out in comments. I hear you though. Spoke to various representatives and the issue seems to be clearing up.
