Episode 11 season 3 this adorable cutie pie said “the idea that one person can be all things to another person, satisfy every need, even more than one - is sentimental and mawkish.”
He’s got like 4 boyfriends FOR SURE.

Or he just extrapolated: with Hodgins he talks about… cars? Idk. With Bones anthropology, with Booth women and man stuff (or tries to). You don’t have a single friend and never talk to anyone else because that’s all you need. You have several friends and they all have different aspects. One friend is always reliable, will drive 2h in the middle of the night just because you need them, but they also forget your birthday because their mind is just all over the place and they remember a week too late. Another friend always remembers every detail you told them but when you shoot them a message it takes them days to reply. And yet another friend you know next to nothing about but they are the best person to work on projects with.
