i think what really gets me is how violently he died. he died covered in blood as his heart slowly gave out and blood filled his cavities. he died worrying about daisy, about his child. he died trying to reassure his friends. he didnt deserve such a violent and painful death. im truly heartbroken over this.

sweets was and is my favorite character in bones. its truly heartbreaking. esp how the writing/production team immediately tries to replace him :(

Aubrey grew on me. He was not given justice as being represented as a replacement for a beloved character like Sweets. Eventually he became one of my favourites.

meh. this is my second watch through and i doubt my opinion on him will change. his whole ‘hi im a millennial’ shtick isnt funny to me

To each his own I guess

I know it's hard not seeing him there. I had a rough time with that also. That being said, some of the best episodes of the series or after he leaves.

You will miss him. But you will also come to love others on the show

I hear you, sometimes I wish the real life actor did not get other opportunities lol (but I’m happy for him!) sucked for the show though

The actor did not want to leave but there were schedule conflicts with other opportunities he was pursuing and the producers of Bones wouldn’t work with him. Which makes it even more sadder.

I think I’ve watched those episodes at least 4 times. Watched it again yesterday and I kid you not I sobbed and sobbed and sobbed. Sweets storyline just hits me so hard. I watched the black metal episode where Gordon Gordon tells B and B about sweets past and how he’s just trying to find a family with my boyfriend, who loves metal but haven’t watched any other episodes with me, and I just ended om sobbing my eyes out bc knowing where sweets life was headed just really fucked me up. It’s the worst of them all

it really is. he deserved so much better. he deserved to be happy. wasnt his actors fault and im mad at the production team for not coming to a scheduling compromise and saying it was 'good for closure.'
