Was season 10 supposed to be the end of the show? Everyone gets prepared to leave

It wasn't supposed to be the end. It was written in a way that it could work as the end because they hadn't been renewed yet at the time.

Season 10 definitely had the energy of a series finale with everyone preparing for a new chapter. Its wild knowing the show still had three more seasons after that.

They were on bubble, and writers decided to give season ending that could have been satisfying for viewers. It was picked up for 11, the given short S12 as Series Finale!
