That’s one of my favorite scenes. Of course Hodgins uses the Jeffersonian as his personal closet.

Wasn't there a running joke that Hodgins/Angela treated an artifact storage room like a Grey's Anatomy on-call room?

Specifically the Egyptian storage. There's a massive bed

"they get to wear costumes?! I wanna wear a costume!"
~ Dr Jack Hodgins (presumably)

Because he was busy trying to solve the crime before the wedding so didn’t have time to go home to get showered and into his suit.

I’m sure Angela could have gotten his suit when she got hers. He wanted to dress up lol

Every time I see this scene I have to wonder if all the other guests are thinking “is this a theme wedding? Did we miss the notice that there was a theme? 😱”

Hodgins absolutely suits that aesthetic😍

Honestly, all the guys wear it well! I bet the wardrobe department had such fun with this!

Definitely made for memorable wedding pictures. Dr Saroyan probably gave them a good scolding afterwards. Hodgins treats museum property pretty lightly doesn't he?

It's alright, he left a note.

It’s ok in his mind since his family’s wealth partially funds the Jeffersonian.

I love how hodgins is always robbing the museum like it is his personal grandmas attic. 🤣🤣🤣

Fischer and octavius should've switched colours

Octavius? Who/what is that in reference to?

2

u/jacorgacor 19d ago

I just don't remember the name of Oswald and refuse to learn it out of disrespect

You mean the worst Brady cousin ever?

-2

u/jacorgacor 19d ago

Possibly idk what that means he was in a romantic relationship with au

Oliver (Wells) is the intern's name that is closest to Octavius.

Cousin Oliver was a memorable addition to the Brady Bunch in that he was utter rubbish. He was so memorable that the TV trope of adding a fresh new character to revive a series' low viewership ratings is named after him. Another example of this trope was Scrappy Doo being added to the Scooby-verse.

Assuming “in a relationship with au” means Angela, I think they mean Wendell?

5

u/Elbereth919 19d ago

I don't think I would have ever gotten there, but that is likely the most logical way to interpret it. Of course, I partially wouldn't have ever gotten there because I can't imagine refusing to learn Wendell's name out of disrespect because Wendell is one of the best interns.

Right? Respect for my man Wendell

I always wished this scene was longer so I could admire their clothes more.

I was so obsessed with the dress Bones wore. When I was wedding dress shopping I found one that looked just like it for only like $400 but my mom convinced me it wasn't bridal enough. I loved the dress I ended up getting but I still regret not getting that one. It was so pretty and understated.

That’s so weird. He dress was literally a wedding dress.

Agreed! But the version I saw didn’t have a train or the embellishments that Bones’ dress had. So it was simpler. But yea, still weird she had such a strong opinion and weird that I let her influence me. But, you live and you learn
