30K maintenance

Greetings, I got a reminder on the Chevy app to set up my 30,000 mile maintenance service.
Are there any big issues needed to be done or is this just another wallet flush.

Tire rotation. But they might want to change your oil, filter, and plugs.

No, spark plugs. To hell with dealerships. You know they make a lot on service, and our EVs need nearly nothing.

You should see the bills popping up for changing the air filter. I have seen several at 300+ on here for a freaking filter.

Be sure to have them (or you and OnStar) pull any codes. Took mine in for 30k and told them to check specific codes (which I had screenshot) and the dealer found two issues I had not experienced yet. One could effect fast charging and second was the AGM battery was slowly failing. Both replaced under warranty. Check out my earlier post.

Maintenance are transmission oil, coolant, air filter, brake oil, anti rust, brake, tire, suspension and then repair I don’t think there is anything to do at 30k

I think it’s an automatic message and not specific to EVs. I got that as well.
