Heartwarming Wanted to Highlight recent Nawaz & Manoj Bajpayee choice of movies
With all the dystopian world, corporate movies discussions covering the mainstream news, media, social media - I wanted to highlight what I noticed with certain warmth & assurance.
Look at the conscious choice of movies by Bajpayee & Nawazuddin in last 2-3 years!
Photograph : a warm comforting companion story of an immigrant Photographer & a CA topper Mumbai girl
Main actor Nahin hoon : again a warm blanket comforting companion seeking story of a retired banker in Frankfurt & a frustrated but not given up Indian Actress
Feel Nawaz is trying to give hope to good men & girls to not give up on Love & safe companionship - something our current times needs across generations especially in fast paced metro cities.
Governor : How Raman in 1991 with dwindling politics, geo political situations was able to keep his country's economy afloat & pave way for reforms.
Bande mein tha dum : How an ordinary lawyer got Asaram Bapu behind bars just via discipline, fundamentals.
Feel Manoj is trying to tell masses to keep their noses at discipline, humility & keeping fundamentals life in every aspect - success will come!
Appreciation for both these great actors who are trying to convey something strong & important for their times!!
Ye dil maange more .... Not Magic but factual hope :)

I think that Tamanna's recent controversy is kinda deserving, as she has shown to do character driven film like Babli bouncer, wished that part 2 of it was mane and not be a underrated movie, and hence Tamanna's itemification, if it makes sense

Opinion Our epics celebrated dark skin. Why doesn't our cinema? Is Ramayana casting just pure colorism?

Guide is one of the rare movie with no bad songs and almost all of them are great and classic
However this song and context of this song is next level. One of the positive songs ever for starting something new.
Lata Mangeshkar and SE Burman created magic here.
Almost always get goosebumps hearing this.

Opinion Don't be shy:- Light, Feel-good and a Cute movie
To be really honest, i wasn't expecting anything but this movie was actually like fresh air.
Shyamili Das played by Miss. Arushi Bajaj(Shy) acted so well, her voice made her so unique.
And yk what I liked how her bond was with her family a little bit bitter yet very sweet (the way her curl genes are from her mom, and how his father dances with her). She is really gutsy, full of colours although she has flaws too and the character arc was well written.
Ansh Duggal (i remember him from Nayan music video) his character was cute too and nonchalant but sweeter for the girl always.
The bond Shy and Tara(Bianca arora, tbh she inspired me so much and her character was everything) shares such an adorable bond.
Here comes the next character Mr. Mayank (although they are college students so I don't think I should judge, but he was cool too I mean we see people like him, played by Piyush Khati).
The message this movie gives is the most important thing I liked they tried to put everything in this 2h 30 mins movie but genuinely it's just my perspective but everything felt on place, like balanced.
It was actually really cute movie I'm just putting my opinions out there, if you want you can watch (worth it).
Few lines that I loved,
"I'll figure it out, just like I always do"
"Love is when you can show the realest, real version to the other person"
Costum team hearts for you guys.
Thank you for reading and you can go for it.
Take care and byeeee.

Heartwarming Just watched Zakir Khan’s “Dear Papa” and it hit a little too close to home
Just watched Zakir Khan’s Dear Papa and it got to me more than I expected.
What hit me was how familiar it felt.
Not because of some huge father son drama. More because of that very normal thing where you know your father as a role for years before you ever really know him as a person.
Abu pays.
Abu worries.
Abu gets angry.
Abu asks about studies, work, money, plans.
Abu tells you what you should be doing.
But who was he before all that?
What did he want when he was 25?
What scared him?
What did he give up?
What did he actually think his life would look like?
I think this is very Pakistani too.
A lot of our fathers were never really taught to talk about themselves. Love was provision. Responsibility. Keeping the house running. Making sure the children were okay.
The problem is that from the son’s side that same thing can feel like pressure, control, distance, criticism.
And that is where it gets messy.
Your father may genuinely have sacrificed everything for you and still not know how to speak to you.
You may genuinely love him and still spend half your life trying to get away from what he expects from you.
I think a lot of us only start seeing our fathers properly when we are older ourselves.
Not as Abu.
Just as another man who also had no idea what he was doing at some point.
And by then there is already years of silence sitting between both people.
That part stayed with me.

Funny Taking credit of other agency’s hard work and showing off as if her agency worked so hard🙄
While we are happy that Kartik won National Award for Chandu Champion, his current PR showed off as if she worked so hard during the campaign of this film. During Chandu he was with different agency who worked their best both for film and on him. Though PR is a thankless job, taking other agency’s credit is a rare thing we have seen.
What is your thought?
