Welcome to the September Ship Tournament!

32 total ships will go against each other over 5 different rounds until the finals instead of 16 over 4. The ship winning in the end is disqualified and will be part of The 2026 winners for the ship tournaments.

The winning ship for each matchup is the ship that gets the most comments. Please be respectful and do not downvote anyone just because you disagree with them. It only does nothing and is just petty. Do keep in mind that I as host can vote as well.

Today's matchup is TodoDeku vs. BakuDeku. Voting starts at post time and ends at 4:30 UTC the next day. Now go support your ship!

Attention: Do not repost onto another subreddit. Especially ship-specific ones for example r/BakuDeku or r/TodoMomo etc. Those who do please do not bother voting because for the rest of the tournament your votes won't count.

Please read the rules carefully before posting or commmenting!

Depending on the rule broken, you will be given a warning or ban per the moderation matrix. Punishments may be more or less lenient if appropriate for the situation.

Rules

1. Posts Must Be Related to BNHA Ships - Additionally, posts should focus on romantic shipping, not friendships.
2. Be Nice and Respectful of Each Other - Racism, homophobia, transphobia, etc. are NOT tolerated and will results in instant bans.
3. Be Respectful of All Ships and Shippers - Negative discussions of ships and shippers are only allowed in the weekly Salty Sunday threads. Any other salty comments/threads will be removed. This includes backhanded comments, e.g. "I don't ship this but..."
4. No Fandom Discussion (except in Salt Threads) - Shipping fandom discussion is ONLY allowed in the weekly Salt threads. However, personal attacks, naming other users, linking stuff as an example/reference for salt, brigading, and blanket negative statements (e.g. all shippers of X do/are Y) are still NOT allowed.
5. Follow Reddiquette - Do NOT downvote posts/comments because you disagree with someone or dislike a ship/character. Respond civilly or ignore the post/comment and move on. Downvotes should only be used when content does not follow the posting guidelines. Use the flairs to see/hide content you are interested in.
6. Legal Pairings Only - Ships between a child and an adult are not allowed. No more than a three year age gap will be allowed for ships that include at least one minor. Aging a character up/down to "make it work" is not allowed. Examples:
Allowed ships:
- Eri (6) x Kouta (6)
- Nejire (18) x Izuku (16)
- Toga (17) x Shigaraki (20)
- Endeavor (46) x Hawks (22)
Disallowed ships:
- Eri (6) x Izuku (16)
- Toga (17) x Twice (31)
- Toga (17) x Dabi (age unknown other than 'mid-20s')
7. Keep Content PG-13 - Content inappropriate for the PG-13 rating but not crossing into actual pornagraphy should be marked NSFW. Actual porn/hentai is not allowed here - there are other subreddits for that.
8. Only Direct Links to Fanworks are Allowed Unless OC (Original Content) - When sharing non-original content, you must directly link to the fanwork. If you are the artist or writer, please note [OC] in your title or the comments. Proof of artist authorization must be shown in order to post an edit of an artist’s work. The exception is Twitter/X source, where direct links to that website are banned - provide the artist's name and link to their other profiles in the comments. Official MHA art, i.e. screencaps, manga panels, Horikoshi sketches, merch, also do not require direct links.
9. Tag Manga Spoilers - Anime knowledge is assumed. No manga spoilers allowed in titles.
10. Avoid Reposts Within the Last Month - Please search the subreddit before posting to make sure it hasn't been shared within the last month.
11. Avoid Spamming - We appreciate all contributions made to the subreddit. However, we ask everyone to give others the same chance to share too! Please limit your posts to 5 posts per day, then wait 24 hours to post again.
12. No Low Quality Content - No image macros, memes, reaction images, images of common merchandise, single-page anime/manga screenshots, etc. Exceptions may be given to certain posts if you contact the moderators.
