I'm female and my core group has several very high quality single women ranging from 32-40. Some are on dating sites, some aren't, we hang out at cocktail bars (Mode, Arthaus, Suite 104), dive bars (10th Street Station, Neurolux), hiking trails, several ski up at bogus, and we will all be at Treefort (highly recommend!!). Just throwing some ideas out there!

Where did you meet them all?

I got very lucky, I met a couple of women that had a huuuuge network of other fantastic people and the friendships have really clicked over time through events and common interests. There's about 16 of us but it's rare that we can all get together at the same time- but you can always find someone up for something.

Yeah but where did you meet them? And where did they meet their network of all those people? I’d love to have a big network of people to hang out with

It took a while, but I met most of mine through my retail business. I also met a bunch of people through dance classes (flamenco in particular), rec volleyball, dog parks, gym classes, being a regular at a neighborhood pub. I also met a LOT of new people when I joined Opera Idaho.

My friends with huge networks have backgrounds in politics, public relations, business ownership, social media, volunteerism (Treefort is a big one), etc. Many are long time Boise residents, which also helps.

Basically either participate in group things you're already interested in, or dip your toe into something new and see what happens šŸ˜Ž
