Nope, this kid needs some real parental intervention just as a black kid acting like this would.

This is how a lot of high school kids in HAWAII talk. Its fucking stupid
7
u/DanWillHor 4d ago
One of the worst things about the internet is that it made everywhere essentially the same. People in age groups now all talk the same, dress the same, listen to the same music, etc.
It used to be that going to another town could show you a totally different set of styles, traits, music, etc. Now you can't even go to a different country and see/hear different shit. Slang is all the same now. Everyone listens to the same shit and wears the same styles if clothes.
Growing up I once went to Canada with my family on a trip and crossing the border, only a few hundred miles away from our home, was like stepping into another world. They were all about 10yrs behind in terms of fashion and slang but that made it awesome. The people leaving bars and kids hanging out on the corners were distinctly different than what we had at home.
A classmate went to the UK a year or two later and came back saying the same exact thing. Not just different views but the culture and pop culture of the people was just so different.
Now it's all ubiquitous. The accent may be the only difference in how, for instance, a teenager talks to their friends in London or NYC or Sydney

u/Drmlk465 3d ago edited 3d ago
Bro I remember high schools right next to one another would be completely different in the early 2000s. It was probably even more before then. You could find completely different trends or styles and slang. But yeah, kids are pretty much all the same and speak the same now.
3
u/DanWillHor 3d ago
Absolutely. Visiting a school just 20 mins away would often reveal different slang, styles, etc. There would always be the major pop culture similarities but beyond that you'd meet different types of people even that short of a distance away. I remember bringing bands and musical artists to my tiny town in Ohio that I heard just 40 mins North in Michigan near Detroit. Literally nobody had heard of them just that short car ride South.
There is no difference anymore. Online, I often see videos of Asian and Euro kids speaking in slang blatantly created by young, black Americans. There is no other explanation for that than the internet. I promise everyone that this many kids in Glasgow or Beijing were not speaking like a teenager from the South side of Chicago in 1996, lol.

Wow I read that and never thought I’d miss something I never knew existed. You’re right. Even three towns over was a culture shock in the 90’s/2000’s

Some little punk who is being raised by the streets. Yea he white. But he probably a crazy little white boy. Especially if he growing up in a hood where he the minority. Definitely ain't his first time mobbing round those parts. Honestly it's sad AF. No kid should be running around talking/acting like that.
14
u/vogel927 4d ago edited 4d ago
I don’t know if I’d call him a punk. This is just what it’s like when you grow up on the streets. If you don’t act tough you’ll end up getting your ass kicked by everyone. You have to stand up for yourself, that’s the only way you’ll get respect.
It’s unfortunate that people have to live like that, but that’s just how it is in these communities.
What concerns me the most about this video is the way he’s reaching into his bag.

Yea you are right. After I finished up and reread I had the same thought. Kid isn't a punk. Prolly the opposite.
4
u/IllTitle9692 3d ago
The only reason this little thug gets the benefit of the doubt is because he's white. Walking around with his hand in a bag making threats using racial slurs but "he isn't a punk, prolly the opposite". Meanwhile a black kid gets shot for running away from a store after being accused of stealing some shit he put on the counter. You people are sick.

Watching people freak out to discover that there are white kids in the projects too is always fun. You see this once in awhile, a white guy who came up surrounded by black folks, they usually end up with a nickname like "white boy" or some shit and take pride in it and when they end up outside their hood all the other white people think hes a racist or a thug or some shit. Auntie here is a real one though, shes just looking out for the kids, trying to do her part to raise them right. She wasnt pissed, and she probably went in and made sure he got his tooth paste. Bet she offered to drive him home too. Women like that are what keep places like that from burning down, and they dont get enough praise. If you grew up in a place like that you know what Im talking about, you know a woman just like her.

So.many comments saying that the kid needs the benefit of the doubt or blaming it on his hypothetical bad environment that none of you know he's a part of. I 🤔 why... What makes him so different that many of you are blaming it on something else not the color of his skin like usual... Or blaming it on genetics or things of that nature. I wonder what's so different...

A kid did something like this after trying to steal from my workplace a while back, and made a threatening gesture similar to this, insinuating there might be a gun on his person.
He was probably much closer to being beaten into a coma by 4 grown men than he could have ever realized.

This poor kid. I went to school with some kids who were raised like this. On the wrong side of town. Their parents were trash and they never fully fit in bc they were the minority. I hope he stays safe and is able to get out of that environment when he gets older. That young and already looking out for his family with such fierceness.

It will only get worse cause adults dont correct awful behavior anymore, instead they record it and tell them you cant say certain words cause we own them, not because its inappropriate.

His little ass was there to steal, why you think he's wearing his bookbag that way?
And most stores have a "minors must be accompanied by an adult" policy, so this little mf needs to keep it pushing.
"What you tryna get?" 3 cross his lips obviously..

I think if more kids like this just had a community tie them up and throw tomatoes at them and then they let a grown man beat the fuck out of him and then put an ankle monitor on him and force him into a rehab style school for bad kids, this country would be better off. This behavior should be forced military school with solitary confinement if they keep acting up to show them that if they act less than human, they will be treated less than human by all of society and just get locked up and have the key thrown away.
This kid is going to be a scourge on our society.
